We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Import Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the end-to-end import process, including coordinating shipments, customs clearance, and delivery logistics.

- Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to minimize risks and optimize cost efficiency.

- Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to coordinate import activities and resolve any issues that may arise.

- Monitor and track shipment schedules, documentation, and payments to ensure timely delivery and inventory management.

- Analyze market trends, tariffs, and trade policies to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing industry knowledge and best practices in import operations.

- Maintain accurate import records, reports, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in import operations, preferably in the F&B or FMCG industry.

- Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs processes, and international trade practices.

- Experience in managing import documentation, tariffs, duties, and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in using import software and ERP systems to track shipments and manage import processes.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize workload effectively.
