Responsibilities:
- Process and record financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Participate in month-end closing procedures.
- Analyze financial data and generate reports as needed.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and best practices (e.g., Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)).
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments regarding financial matters.
- Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
