Job Description:

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Junior Android Developer to join our awesome team at Kahunas. You'll be a key player in developing and improving our Android app, helping personal trainers and fitness pros connect with their clients seamlessly. You'll work hand-in-hand with our experienced devs to build and enhance our Android app, ensuring it's smooth, user-friendly, and packed with features our users love. This role is a great opportunity to learn, contribute, and level up your mobile app development skills.

Responsibilities:

• Help develop and maintain our Android app using Java and/or Kotlin
• Work with the design team to bring user-friendly interfaces to life
• Write clean, efficient code that you'd be proud to show off
• Jump into code reviews and use feedback from senior devs to improve your skills
• Hunt down and squash bugs in existing code
• Keep your finger on the pulse of Android development trends and best practices
• Pitch in to improve our development processes
• Assist in integrating third-party libraries and APIs when needed
• Help with Google Play Store submissions and updates
• Be an active participant in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
• Support testing and quality assurance efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with Android development using Kotlin & Java
• Familiarity with Android Studio and the Android SDK
• Solid problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Great communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
