Job Description
Valuement is an international consulting company, part of Mantu Group, operating in 60 countries, with a primary focus on the retail market and now also expanding new industries.
We are actively developing our markets and therefore we are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to implement projects within our operational team.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to be part of an international, young and fast growing group with real opportunities for professional development at all levels in Dubai.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and curious professional, able to think outside the box and with a strong interest for performing analyses and working with data.
About the job:
- Acquire a good knowledge of client's business, processes, organizational structure, and contracts.
- Efficiently use and update both client's internal systems and Valuement tool.
- Perform complex analysis to identify the likely causes of loss of income (double payments, unregistered credit notes, unapplied sales allowance interpreting client's electronic data from multiple sources.
- Analyze contractual, commercial agreements, and financial results data between clients and their suppliers with focusing on reviewing conditions.
- Detect anomalies, investigate other potential sources of revenue leakage, propose course of action.
- Communicate with the client's suppliers for follow-ups regarding the collection of the leaked income.
- Provide periodic reports and other feedback to Valuement management.
- Present and discuss results from analysis with the senior analysts and Audit manager.
- Participate to internal meetings and client discussions related to process improvement and Valuement reports and deliverables.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Little professional experience or internship (6 months to 1 year) in client facing, Audit / Banking / Retail / Finance with a degree in finance, accounting, management.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Management
- Experience in Retail or FMCG is considered a plus.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in English.Other languages are a plus.
- Open-minded, critical thinker with problem-solving abilities, motivated to improve.
