About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Graphic Designer - Digital to join our creative team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced Creative & Design Manager, as well as the e-shop, digital marketing, and CRM teams, contributing to a range of visual communication projects that support our digital initiatives (e-shop, CRM, newsletters, etc.). This position requires a strong foundation in graphic design, digital asset management, and an understanding of newsletter strategy and basic web design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Design production: Collaborate closely with the Creative & Design Manager to create, adapt, and resize designs for various platforms, including websites, newsletters, and digital marketing. Ensure all designs are consistent, visually appealing, and align with brand identity.
Digital Asset Management: Manage digital assets, assisting with content organization and ensuring efficient access to resources for marketing and design needs.
Photoshoot Brief Creation: Assist in creating photoshoot briefs to capture high-quality content that reflects our brand's identity and meets marketing goals.
Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with design trends and techniques, continuously enhancing skills and creativity.
Position Overview
Design and Layout Creation: Produce visually appealing layouts for newsletters, website banners, and other digital marketing assets. Ensure designs are optimized for each platform's specifications and meet accessibility standards.
Brand Consistency: Support the Creative & Design Manager in maintaining brand consistency across all digital outputs by following brand guidelines closely and proposing improvements when necessary.
Basic Video Editing: Assist in creating short video edits and animations for E-commerce channels. This may include paid ad campaigns, GIFs for newsletters, or simple animations for the website.
Content Refresh and Update: Regularly update content on digital platforms, ensuring a consistent brand message. Help refresh designs for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives requiring updated visuals.
Project Coordination: Work with digital and marketing teams to understand project requirements, deadlines, and objectives. Track multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet project timelines effectively.
Feedback Implementation: Act on feedback from the Creative & Design Manager and other team members to refine and improve designs. Make revisions based on team and client input, ensuring that all assets meet quality standards.
Testing and Optimization: Collaborate with the digital team to test design variations (A/B testing) on web or email campaigns to understand what designs perform best, then make data-driven adjustments as needed.
Documentation and Archiving: Organize, document, and archive completed digital projects and assets. Ensure the asset library is easy to navigate and up-to-date for seamless future access by the team.
Support in Design Research: Conduct research on design trends, competitor campaigns, and visual communication strategies to provide inspiration and innovative ideas for future projects.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot minor technical issues with digital assets, such as resolution or formatting problems, before they are published.
Role - Specific Skills:
Creativity focused on brand elevation and performance.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier pro).
Familiarity with Klaviyo for email marketing and Figma for collaborative design work.
Fluent in English (French is a plus).
Solid understanding of design principles, techniques, and best practices.
Highly agile, organized, versatile, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Desired Background and Experience:
3+ years of experience creating digital assets, with a strong digital mindset.
A degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field, or an impressive portfolio demonstrating design expertise.
Passionate about the fragrance, beauty, and luxury industries (preferred but not required).
