Position: Junior Sous Chef- Cuisine Specialization: Emirati Cuisine
We are seeking a skilled Junior Sous Chef with experience in Emirati cuisine to join our team in Dubai. The candidate will support kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and maintaining hygiene standards.
Food Preparation and Cooking:- Assist in preparing and cooking Emirati dishes to high standards.
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
Supervise and train kitchen staff.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure procedures are followed.
Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and dishes.
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed.
Maintain a clean kitchen environment.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Assist in developing new Emirati menu items.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on recipe improvements.
Manage kitchen budgets and control food costs.
- Minimize waste and optimize ingredient usage.
- Qualifications and Skills:
Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Emirati cuisine.
Culinary degree or equivalent preferred.- Excellent cooking and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
