Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Designer at K4 Technical Services, located in Dubai.
- Take Creative Designs Concept and Tender Documentation and developing into Execution Drawings (taking into consideration site conditions, budget, and technical possible difficulties) (Shop Drawings)
Review all design documentation for completeness, safety, reliability, manufacturability, and adherence to budget goals.- Supporting the Design team in the development of design solutions as required.
Red flag any current or potential design crisis as early as possible, so priorities can be rearranged to mitigate the impact.
- Highlight significant scope changes to Project Management.
Lead detailed technical discussions. Supporting the preparation of specifications for construction, technical surveys, and design.- Serve as a reviewer and a technical auditor to ensure technical assurance.
Undertake self-checking and assist with technical checks of work undertaken by the team.
- Provide quality control for compliance with company/project standards of deliverables.
Actively contribute to project design development by contributing to internal coordination, clash
detection, and design review sessions as well as external presentations to clients.- Supervise the work of the Technical Designer/Draftsmen Junior Position.
Degree in Interior Design/Interior Architecture or certification in a related field is preferred- Technical Design, Villa projects, and Fitting skills
Pattern Making and Architecture skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to interpret and translate concepts into technical designs- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in the villa projects(Residential industry is a plus )
