The Role
Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing Key Accounts at a market level to optimize sales and revenue opportunities.
A key success factor for this position will be to achieve maximum profitable sales within the assigned accounts by meeting or exceeding assigned goals whilst maintaining strong and positive business partnership.
What you will do
- Engage with healthcare professionals to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
- Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in the territory.
- Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the market, demographic, and managed market's information relative to assigned sales territory.
- Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
- Ensure excellent medical and Product knowledge and promotional skills related to his/her disease area and product.
- Resolving key client issues and complaints
- Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
- Negotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
- Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management.
- Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients.
- Meeting and exceeding sales and targets of the company.
- Responsible for effectively implement and monitor sales and distribution objectives.
- Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training.
- Cascade commercial plans to the team and ensure execution excellence.
- Work closely with the other functions team to ensure operation excellence and flawless execution.
- Maintain the highest levels of product knowledge, personal development, quality standards and business ethics.
What you must have
- Bachelor's degree and/or MBA.
- Minimum 5-8 years Sales experience in sales
- Customer centric approach.
- Negotiation skills with the ability to build selling proposition and create win-win situation.
- English language is a must, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Structured and strategic thinking.
- Excellent Excel and presentation skills.
- Valid UAE Driver's License.
