Reports to:

Sultan Furnishing Sales Manager

Status: Full-Time

Location: Kuwait

About Sultan Furnishing

Sultan Furnishing, the established distributor of home linens since 1980, holds the license to manufacture and distribute Cannon and Fieldcrest products in Kuwait. The Group extends its distribution reach across the Middle East by leveraging strategic affiliations and exclusive partnerships.

With a distinguished legacy of excellence, Sultan Furnishing produces a variety of locally cherished brands, such as Valentini, Fashion, and other bespoke private labels alongside internationally renowned ones.

Venturing into the B2C market, and as part of the Group's ambitions to expand across the Middle East, the company aims to introduce its e-commerce platform dedicated to serving the Kuwaiti market after introducing its first online platform in Beirut. It plans to launch at least two more online stores in the upcoming months to serve different markets across the Middle East.

In December 2023, the Group launched its first Cannon Home flagship retail store in Lebanon, rebranded two national retail stores, and plans to expand to more branches in Beirut and Riyadh, integrating physical retail spaces with e-commerce platforms.

About the Role

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for sales and team leadership We're looking for a Key Accounts Manager to drive sales growth and lead a dynamic sales team. Your role will be critical in managing key client relationships and achieving company objectives.

What You're Responsible For

Sales Strategy Development:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company goals.

Analyse market trends and competitor activities for growth opportunities.

Evaluate account data to identify areas for improvement and set actionable plans.

Team Leadership and Management:

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.

Recommend and implement sales incentive structures.

Set sales targets and motivate the team to achieve them.

Provide coaching and conduct regular field visits to ensure plan execution.

Client Relationship Management:

Conduct regular sales reviews with key accounts.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Identify clients needs and negotiate contracts and agreements to drive growth.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

Assist in implementing a sales tracking system.

Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to forecast future sales.

Prepare regular sales reports and presentations with actionable recommendations.

Product and Market Knowledge:

Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities.

Understand and communicate the value proposition of company products.

Ensure the sales team is well-informed and capable of closing sales effectively.

Budget Management:

Assist in developing and managing the accounts budget.

Allocate resources efficiently to maximize sales opportunities.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies.

Provide feedback to improve products or services based on market trends.

Customer Service and Satisfaction:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution.

Foster a customer-centric culture within the team.

Compliance and Ethical Standards:

Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Uphold integrity and professionalism in all sales activities.

Continuous Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes.

Encourage innovation & learning within the team and identify new growth opportunities.

Requirements

Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Account Manager or similar role.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM software.

Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness to travel as needed, with a valid driver's license.

High level of integrity and professionalism.

High ability to cope with pressure.
