Overview

To be the Key point of contact for on-trade accounts across Abu Dhabi driving sales, distribution and marketing activity across the portfolio of Wine, Champagne Spirits, Beers and Sake within the independent, 4 and 5 star Hotel sector

Responsibilities and key requirements

Open new Key On Trade Accounts and develop the On Trade business as the Bottle Store develops in the On Trade Market

Implement agreed Key Account Plans in on-trade accounts to maximise product sales and achieve volume, revenue and profit targets set out.

Achieve monthly/quarterly objectives set in line with overall company strategies and targets

Ensure up to date knowledge of the UAE market, customer activity, competitor products, promotions, market changes, new openings to stay ahead of the competition.

Build strong and ongoing business relationships across all accounts at all levels to ensure successful communication and smooth operation of the business

Maintain organized and up to date account files and customer records via the internal systems.

Regular reporting to line manager on results, account plan progress, new business, promotional tracking and objectives.

Provide accurate forecasts for all key products by customer to avoid out-of-stock situations and customer dissatisfaction

Communicate effectively with the Internal management team, KAMs, Category Team, finance support, logistics and Trade Marketing to ensure the smooth running of the business and customer service

Skills & Experience required

Previous sales experience in the liquor industry

Strong personality with the ability to build long lasting customer relationships

Key account management experience

WSET Levels 1,2 and 3 preferred

Graduate level

Strong IT skills

Strong commercial skills

Perform confidently when presenting and under pressure

YES - a can do attitude

Analytical and problem solving skills
