Who We Are:

Swiss Butter is a casual dineresque type steakhouse that serves 3 mains: Beef filet, chicken

breast & Salmon filet. All 3 mains are served with our secret Swiss Butter sauce, a mesclun

salad, a freshly baked baguette, chili flakes, and your choice of fries or a baked potato. We also

serve a molten chocolate fondant and a pain perdu for dessert. We serve a selection of wines

but highly recommend our house wine which is young yet superbly balanced.

As a young restaurant, our primary focus is perfecting our service and offerings to the large

number of clients we get every month. We want to grow the brand and open up the doors to

Swiss Butter in every major city in the world.

the communities in the cities that our restaurants open up in. That starts with the people we

Summary of Job Position:


As a Kitchen Manager at Swiss Butter, you will be responsible for controlling and supervising

the running of the kitchen, ensuring that the preparation and presentation of food comply with

the required standards, and providing efficient and cost-effective food service.

Your main goal will be to ensure that customers have a positive experience, team morale is

high, and company standards and budgetary requirements are met.

You will be responsible for managing and ensuring that kitchen members maintain high

standards, adhere to company procedures, and provide quality food and service.

You will also be responsible for managing food quality and overseeing security procedures.

Additionally, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and motivating your teams and

managing payroll.

The ideal candidate should have effective communication skills, good people management

skills, planning and organizational skills, and knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety.

Restaurant Operations & Customer Service:

Ensure that sufficient stocks of all materials are being kept and stored under the correct

conditions

To liaise with management daily regarding special requirements

Ensure that all statutory hygiene requirements are diligently followed

Ensure that maintenance problems are promptly reported.

Ensure that all documents are passed to management immediately for processing

To constantly update the knowledge and skills for the good of the establishment

To assist with regular stock takes as and when required.

Ensure that all meals, snacks, and functions are correctly prepared, cooked, and served.

Ensure that foodstuffs are used correctly so that wastage is kept to a minimum and staff

are trained to effect good portion control

Re-arrange duties and rosters as necessary to ensure that all tasks are correctly and

timorously completed

Ensure that food preparation is hygienic and that a clean as you go discipline is

adhered to.

Ensure that food in the pickup station looks attractive at all times, re-garnishing where

necessary or replenishing

High standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Promote team spirit and lead by example

Report any faults or defects to management, paying particular attention to any safety or

health hazard.

Team Management:


Ensure that all staff are constantly trained to effect good portion control and pleasing

presentation of dishes

Ensure that attendance registers are kept daily and that any absenteeism is reported to

management without delay.

Ensure that all staff are dressed correctly to satisfy statutory requirements as well as

enhance the image of the establishment

Assist with or present regular training or coaching sessions, so that staff perform their

duties correctly

Guests complaints are promptly and well handled and reduced with time

All Policies, procedures, and guidelines are 100% applied

High productivity in employee schedule

Financial targets are met

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED10,
  • 00 - AED13,000.00 per month
