Job Description
Conduct routine analyses of oil, water and liquid samples. Uses correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality. Prepare all required reagents, standards, reference material, etc. Carry out all required data processing (calculation, review, entry etc) Carry out all required record-keeping & documentation. Perform all required quality control procedures. Perform instrument/equipment calibration, maintenance and repair as required. Prioritize lab activities in order to meet the Company deadlines. Other duties as assigned by the Laboratory Coordinator. Should be able to communicate in English and Arabic. Shall keep the work bench and test equipment including glass wares, neat and clean and ready to at any point of time.
Qualifications
Diploma in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. degree in chemistry from a recognized University/Institution.
Additional Information
Eight years experience in the chemical analysis out of which minimum two (2) years experience shall be in the crude oil laboratory analysis. In addition, he/she must have worked in an internationally accredited laboratory (for crude oil) for at least one (1) year.
