We are seeking an outstanding Laboratory Technician to join our team at an elite school in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time position starting on 15/08/
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and organize the science laboratories, ensuring a safe, stimulating environment that promotes independent learning
Routinely check, clean, calibrate, test and repair lab equipment to required standards- Design, develop and maintain specialist resources and long-term projects to support the science curriculum
Provide technical advice and guidance to teachers and staff on health, safety and practical requirements
- Monitor stock control, orders, suppliers and department expenditure
Create engaging science displays in line with school policies- Attend weekly staff meetings and write termly student reports
Uphold the school's behavior policy to ensure excellent conduct
- Support the Science Department with any other requirements as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry
Minimum 3 years experience as a Laboratory Technician in UAE schools- Exceptional organization and paperwork skills
Up-to-date knowledge of ADEK policies and science curriculum
- Strong communication abilities to effectively coordinate with school staff
* Absolute adherence to confidentiality of student/staff data
- Proficiency in English language
