Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Architect to join our Design and Panning Studio Team in Dubai! In this role you will get to work in a young and dynamic team for the delivery of creative public realm design of varying scales.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop unique and creative landscape design solutions for public realm developments across the Middle East.
Undertake project related tasks professionally and independently as directed by senior team members.
Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Managing internal resources efficiently when required to achieve results within defined timeframes.
Responsible and accountable for allocated tasks.
Perform other related tasks as directed.
What Skills you will bring:
An understanding of the design aesthetic and technical components of landscape architecture.
An understanding of production techniques, procedures, and standards.
An understanding of industry codes/standards/health and safety requirements and sustainability regulations.
An understanding of the regional construction industry, local construction methods and their influence on design decisions.
Demonstrate a team oriented and collaborative approach to Landscape Architecture within the design team.
Technical skills and efficiencies in both standard and specialist computer programs such as Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, Adobe Create Suite, Land FX, and MS office suite programs
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Minimum 2+ years of continuous experience in landscape architecture. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from an accredited University or College program.
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Languages: Fluency in English, verbal and written. Proficiency in other languages, especially Arabic, is highly regarded.
Professional certification: Working towards CMLI / ASLA / ALIA
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
International experience in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia is preferrable.
Knowledge of LEED and ESTIDAMA principles, certification is preferred.
Possess a strong commitment to quality control for design and technical issues.
Possess strong communication skills with both internal and external parties.
A willingness to develop and further landscape architecture skills and techniques for the enhancement and efficiency of the team.
