We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated individual to join our team as a Landscaping Laborer. As a Landscaping Laborer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and beautifying outdoor spaces for both residential and commercial properties. Your work will involve a variety of tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, and maintaining irrigation systems. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team.
Responsibilities
- Mow and edge lawns to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
- Trim and prune trees, shrubs, and hedges to promote healthy growth
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and other plants according to design plans
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides as needed
- Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from outdoor spaces
- Assist in the construction of hardscaping features such as pathways and retaining walls
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping or a related field preferred
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Knowledge of plant care and maintenance techniques
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion, bending, and lifting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
