The Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven law students preparing to undertake their Cooperative Training (Co-Op) in the next semester to fulfil their academic requirements. This 7-month paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience by working with different teams across the firm, supporting a variety of legal matters.

This program is designed to provide law students with hands-on exposure to real-world legal work, preparing them for successful careers in the legal profession.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organising legal documents.
• Conduct legal research to support ongoing client matters.
• Contribute to case preparation, due diligence, and document management.
• Prepare initial drafts of correspondence and reports under supervision.

Collaboration and Learning

• Work alongside associates, partners, and other team members on diverse legal matters.
• Participate in team discussions, client meetings, and observe legal proceedings.
• Gain exposure to various areas of legal practice and learn about the processes involved.

Administrative Support

• Organise and maintain case files and documentation.
• Assist in preparing internal presentations and materials.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal applicant will:

• Be a current law student eligible for Cooperative Training (Co-Op) in the next semester as part of their academic program.
• Be bilingual (Arabic and English), with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Be able to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when needed.
• Previous internship experience is preferred but not required.

This Co-Op program is designed to provide students with exposure to different legal teams, allowing them to experience a variety of legal work in a dynamic and supportive environment. Students will work on real client matters and projects, developing essential skills for a successful legal career.
