Job Description:
· Design the scope of work for engagements, oversee day-to-day activities, assume responsibility for quality control and accuracy of client deliverables, and effectively manage risk associated with engagements.
· Efficient/effective with strong financial, and analytical skills to identify problems and recommend credible solutions.
· Recruitment of new staff and monitoring performance of existing staff
· Build sector expertise and strive to be subject matter specialist in the identified sector.
· Perform reviews of third-party appraisals for audit support purposes
· Attend webinars and industry events to stay abreast of latest developments in the service line.
· Assist partners/directors in external and internal business development and collaborate with other Baker Tilly practices to build cross-functional relationships.
· Coach junior staff in technical skills, industry knowledge and soft skills
· Timesheets and project performance: Ensure that timesheets for staff working on relevant projects are submitted and approved and carry out appropriate project performance analyses for discussion with Senior Management
· Ensure clients are invoiced on a timely basis and monitor collections in-line with project delivery.
· Travel to locations within GCC as and when required.
Job Qualifications:
· Masters degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and Professional certifications (CA/CFA charter holder preferred).
· Minimum 8 years of experience in Transaction Services/ Lead Advisory or a similar relevant role within a consulting firm, Big 4 or corporate environment.
· Ability to create and develop strong relationships
· Able to rally teams behind a shared vision to achieve targets
· Strong analytical thinker and possess good negotiation skills
· Capable of being creative and thinking of solutions outside the box
· Organized with strong business acumen
· Can demonstrate project management experience of complex multiphase projects
· Ability to deliver projects on-time and on budget
· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels of the organization.
· Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work under pressure.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Team player - Is willing and able to assist different team members on several tasks and demonstrates proactivity in doing so.
· Adaptable - Is able to hit the ground running and rapidly learn new skills and behaviors in response to changing circumstances and changing allocations of tasks.
· Researching skills- Identifies, documents and shares knowledge that might be useful to others.
