Role Overview:
The Lead - Battery Systems will be a pivotal role, based in Dubai, focusing on the advancement of the battery systems. This includes developing various electro-mechanical parts within the battery system from CAD development to manufacturing. The role demands close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the seamless transition of products from concept to production.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the CAD development to manufacturing of components;
- Actively engage with suppliers to plan the development and testing stages;
- Provide input to the CAE team;
- Support DFMEA documentation activities;
- Release component level and assembly level drawings, which should be sound in providing GD&T;
- Prepare test reports for the components.
Requirements for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or related;
- Min 5 years of work experience in the related field;
- Familiarity with automotive development processes is required;
- Experience in developing from concept to production (plastics and/or sheet metal);
- Should be able to work with CAD software for 3D modeling and drawing;
- Knowledge of the battery industry is required;
- Experience in FEA is a plus;
- Should be able to work in a multi-cultural environment;
- Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines; excellent time management;
- Should be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
