The Business Analyst for the Corporate Client Onboarding Portal will play a crucial role in analysing business requirements, optimizing processes, and ensuring the successful implementation of the portal and will act as a liaison between Business and Information technology stakeholders in order to understand the business goals and objectives by eliciting and detailing the requirements for new projects. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders in gather requirements, document processes, and support the development team in delivering a high-quality product.
Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for the Client Onboarding Portal
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand user needs and pain points
- Gather Business & non-functional requirements and conduct feasibility studies of implementing IT solution
Process Analysis:
- Analyse current onboarding processes and identify areas for improvement and automation
- Studying AS IS business processes and system functionalities and propose TO BE functionalities either through system or processes
- Present with different solution options to business problems which create new enablement's
- Develop process maps and workflows to visualize and optimize the onboarding journey
Documentation:
- Create comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories
- Maintain up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Documented requirements into workable product backlog items which are mapped with the feature
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements
- Facilitate regular meetings and updates to keep stakeholders informed of project progress
Testing and Validation:
- Support the development team in creating test plans and test cases
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the portal meets business requirements and user expectations
Data Analysis:
- Analyse data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improving the onboarding process
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
- Providing advisory role to business for different enhancements on processes, products and systems
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to users to ensure effective adoption of the portal
- Develop training materials and user guides to assist with onboarding and usage
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
- Experience with client onboarding processes and digital transformation projects is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are advantageous
Skills:
