Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the CNC team to ensure all operations are operating to a high standard.
- Follow NC Management according to QMS requirements.
- Participate & contribute to product problem solving.
- Perform documents checks, configuration according to shop traveler & follow the work instruction, IPM and other relevant docs.
- Maintain and ensure 5S and housekeeping under area of responsibility.
- Maintain an OEE to monitor KPI from all the work centers under their responsibility.
- Ensure SFC data Entry and down time data are updated timely.
- Monitor scrap rates and rejections to ensure they do not exceed against the targeted KPIs.
- Improvise the processes that can support productivity.
- Setup tooling, fixture, jigs and fabricate the part, fixture jigs as per time requirement.
- Support team on day-to-day issues on product or trouble issues of the machines.
- Manual programing for time-to-time requirements. To prepare off cuts, fabrication of fixture and Jigs or small general work.
- Product adjustment on 5 axis machines to follow right first time .
- Perform Test cut and FAIs, Record data on NC validation based on observations and improvements.
- CAD/CAM software programming of various products including jig and fixture.
- Leading and managing the team of CNC Machine operator and assisting and supporting them in their day to day operations.
- Perform with team RCA & CAPA against the NCRs;
- Participate in daily production meeting.
- Check, monitor and control daily production and other activities of the team.
- Report any deficiencies to output, OEE , OLE , 5S , TPM , Coolant monitoring , Machine break down .
Qualification And Skills
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Abide by company safety guidelines.
- Work productively and efficiently.
- Team Management and effective communication within team and management.
- Knowledge and experience using of CAD/CAM Software
- Understanding of GD&T and Reading Engineering drawing
Experience
- Minimum of 6 years experience as a CNC machine operator or CNC Machinist in Machining / Aerospace manufacturing Industry.
- Proven experience translating mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
