Our Infrastructure division in Dubai, is seeking a Lead Dry Utilities/Electrical Engineer who values multidisciplinary collaboration and desires to be part of an integrated design process. This role is ideal for engineers eager to embrace the complete design process, expand their skills beyond their discipline, and contribute to designs that surpass client expectations.

You will be responsible for undertaking designs, modeling, calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, investigations, and bills of quantities for Dry Services associated infrastructure. Your role involves performing electrical design calculations for low/high power distribution systems, lighting, security/fire systems, and data/telecommunication systems. You'll prepare load analyses for various design stages, create detailed system drawings, and develop the basis of design reports, including energy compliance documentation. Coordination will be a key aspect of your role, working with engineers from other disciplines, architects, authorities, clients, consultants, and contractors. You'll oversee the delivery of design outputs, ensuring thorough quality assurance. Additionally, you'll review and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with designs and specifications and approve documentation such as shop drawings and material submittals. Your approach should be flexible, accommodating both local and regional project involvement. You'll be expected to demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute beyond the traditional constraints of electrical engineering.

Here's what you'll need

As a seasoned professional you will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a Master's degree being advantageous. Competent experience in Electrical Engineering is essential, along with excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Your expertise should include strong detailed design experience in large-scale Power Distribution Networks, Street Lighting Networks, and TEL infra-Networks. Proficiency in design software such as Revit, 3D CADD, Visual SKM, or ETap is necessary. The ability to work independently, demonstrate creative problem-solving, and maintain a strong commitment to teamwork is crucial. You must possess a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations, with experience working on data centers, power systems, VPS systems, generator systems, and medium voltage distribution projects. The capability to independently perform clash analysis for utilities is also required.
