Overview:
One of our client is looking for a seasoned Financial Planning & Performance Management Analyst to join their Planning and Performance Management Department (P&PMD). This department is primarily responsible for coordinating, consolidating, and preparing Business Plans and Midyear/Year-end Accountability reports and presentations for Company Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and lead planning and performance management (P&PM) analytical activities under the broad guidance of higher-level P&PM staff and supervisors, particularly in resolving complex, cross-functional, non-routine, and design issues.
- Assigned Risk Professionals will plan and coordinate risk management activities according to the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework.
Specific Duties:
- Provide analytical findings and recommendations related to regular P&PM tasks such as business plan preparation, performance tracking measurement, and accountability reporting (40%).
- Conduct special P&PM-related studies like the development of performance initiatives and business cases, benchmarking, risk management, and the design and redesign of measurements, processes, and workflows (20%).
- Supervise, coordinate, and facilitate the execution of regular and special tasks by other P&PM personnel, providing mentorship on P&PM analytical practices (30%).
- For Risk Professionals: Focus on risk management, guiding and supporting risk management activities, identifying governance and control gaps, and reviewing proposals to ensure risk management requirements are met (40%).
- Perform additional related staff and analytical duties as assigned (10%).
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- 12 years of related experience, with a demonstrated track record in planning and performance management, and proficiency in business intelligence tools.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance, and Excel. Experience in Oil & Gas is preferred but not required.
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
