Job Description

Position: Lead specialist, Events & Sponsorships

General Requirements:

Education Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Years of Experience

6-8 years of hands-on experience in event management or project management, successfully delivering events.

English Level

Advanced, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Technical Qualification

Proficiency in project management software and tools for efficient planning, tracking, and reporting.

Others:

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of the event industry, including local trends, regulations, and cultural nuances.
  • Strong leadership abilities, capable of motivating teams and driving results in a busy environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset, resourcefulness, and adaptability to manage unexpected challenges

Technical or Job-Related Requirements:

  • Manage all aspects of event projects, from initial concept development to post-event evaluation and analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their objectives, expectations, and requirements, ensuring seamless communication throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, adhering to the Ma'aden standards of excellence.
  • Identify and secure necessary resources, including vendors, suppliers, venues, and equipment, to deliver high-quality events on schedule.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure effective project execution.
  • Monitor and manage project risks, troubleshooting challenges and proactively implementing solutions to mitigate potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, permits, and licensing requirements for each event.
  • Foster strong relationships with partners, and stakeholders, serving as the main point of contact and maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Oversee event logistics, including setup, coordination, and teardown, to guarantee a smooth and flawless event experience.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, promoting their growth and development within the company.
