Job Purpose
Jobs at this level are responsible for managing operations at a branch level (mid - sized branches), teams and/or call centres ensuring all sales objectives, customer/client retention targets and operating expenses are in line with established strategies and plans. They are also responsible for analysing customer/client insights related to feedback on STC products/services and shares feedback with relevant departments for product development and enhancement.
Job Responsibility
Manage day-to-day team operations within a specified scope, by undertaking related work processes and ensuring accuracy.
Participate in the preparation of budgets and targets for STCs sales activities for the branch and ensures that the sales execution is in compliance with established budgets and targets.
Analyse customer/client expectations from STCs products/services and ensures that the branch sales team effectively elaborates customers/clients on STCs offerings.
Contribute in generating and managing new business opportunities with new operators/carriers for hubbing, traffic swap and transit businesses.
Work on sales/service contracts/agreements with relevant operators and reduce identified new billing schemes and billing rates in the favor of STC.
Negotiate and recommend changes to Marketing as appropriate.
Drive development of innovative sales initiatives and campaigns to contribute in increasing STCs profits.
Build a healthy customer/client relationship process, building strong relationships and ensuring effective response to customers/clients needs.
Drive internal process improvement related projects and initiatives, as may be required by the reporting senior.
Supervise allocation of work programmes to the team and ensures that necessary sales reports and analysis are available on time for management decision making purposes.
Monitor the branchs /call centres sales duties plans to maximize GPROS (Gross Profit Return on Space) by aligning the plan with the store space and fixtures availability.
Implement sales plans and initiatives to drive the highest levels of profits for the branch, district, call centre.
Provide technical expertise in resolving complex sales issues and escalates all issues to concerned personnel, for effective resolution.
Drive initiatives aimed at analysing requirements of new product development based on market share, competitor initiatives and customer/client requirements.
Prepare all technical reports (monthly, annual statistical reports, quarterly performance reports etc.) to track progress against agreed objectives.
Support team members and resolves routine queries to ensure work continuity.
Liaise with other supervisors to build effective working relationships and identifies synergies.
