A UAE leading law firm are looking to hire a Learning and Development Manager. This candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic learning and development plan aligned with the firm's goals, objectives, and values. This is a new position and a fantastic opportunity for an experienced L&D Manager to take initiative and make this role their own.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including partners and HR, to identify training needs, priorities, and opportunities for skills development.
- Design and deliver engaging and effective training.
- Create and curate high quality learning resources.
- Provide personalised coaching, mentoring and feedback to lawyers and legal support staff to support their professional growth and development.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs throughout feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices and innovations in legal education and professional development.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to firm leadership on learning and development activities, outcomes, and impact.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in L&D, talent management, or a related field preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Knowledge of legal practice areas, legal skills, and competencies, with experience working in or supporting a law firm or legal department.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven project management skills.
- Professional certifications in training and development (e.g. CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance), ATD (Association for Talent Development)) or relevant fields preferred.
