Job Description

The Learning & Talent Training Lead (Language Skills) will provide strategic support to the business in the design, development and delivery of business critical, English language learning solutions aligned to Group values and the employee experience.

The Learning and Talent Training Lead will provide strategic support to the business in the design, development and delivery of business critical learning solutions aligned to Group values and the employee experience.

In this role you will;

Generic

Lead the development and delivery of learning solutions critical to business needs and strategic priorities in Operational Training or Professional and Leadership Skills or Language Skills Training.
Ensure compliance with the expectations of the Strategic Business Partners, Learning Experience Standards and where applicable, Regulatory Compliance and Audit.
Drive performance within the team, ensuring skills and capabilities continually develop to provide a cutting edge service to the business.
Map capabilities and coordinate resources to ensure the right people are matched to the right project.
Promote continual development and evolve digital literacy within the teams.
Drive a dynamic, results focused culture that leverages performance data in coordination with L&T Operations Support and Learning Experience Standards and Analytics.
Work cross-functionally across the Learning and Talent portfolio to deliver mission-driven solutions to the business.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance, friendly and passionate team environment to ensure the development and retention of critical talent within Emirates.

Specific to Language Skills Training

Lead the curriculum design for English language development aligned to Business and Emiratisation strategy
Lead the design and implementation of English language assessment practices in support of Group Recruitment
Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements;

Experience:


Bachelor's Degree or Honours with 8+ years progressive experience in a people development role or learning leadership role
8+ years experience in a language learning leadership role
Minimum Bachelor level qualification, preferably in a related field
Masters level qualification and Project Management certification would be an asset

Specific to Language Skills Training

DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or equivalent
8+ years experience in a language learning leadership role

Knowledge/Skills:

An expert in learning solution design and delivery
Digitally literate and an advocate for the digital transformation of the employee experience
Able to use initiative and take responsibility with a positive can-do attitude to deliver effective results
Self-motivated with an intellectual curiosity, a strong growth mindset and the desire to constantly improve
Able to form effective relationships with executives and senior leaders
An excellent team player who can adapt quickly to an agile teaming methodology
Open and flexible in your approach, able to adapt quickly to changing business needs
Strong in relationship management and engagement
Resilient and tenacious in your capacity to persevere through challenges
Excellent in communication skills, exceptional at collaboration and influence across all levels of an organisation
A critical thinker who constantly questions the status quo and analyses data to create meaningful conclusions which will inform the department
Continually seeking out opportunities for improvement, efficiencies and innovation in your organisational eco-system
