Job Descriptions

1. Support AliExpress legal affairs in the Middle East market, conducting legal assessment of business plans and providing compliance and risk control suggestions;

2. Conduct marketing, content security, product, data, payment and labor compliance work in the Middle East;

3. Draft, review and revise all documents and agreements related to AliExpress Middle East business, including, without limitation, marketing agreement, cooperation agreement and payment agreement;

4. Handle various litigations, regulatory incidents (complaints, reports, supervision, assistance in investigations), customer complaints and public relations crises;

5. Conduct relevant legal research with regard to the Middle East market, monitoring the regulation development and formulating compliance strategies suitable for business development;

6. Assistance with corporate governance and other legal issues in the Middle East.

Qulifications

1. Bachelor degree or above, majoring in law, and have obtained legal qualification in Saudi Arabia or the United Arabia Emirates;

2. Have more than 6 years of relevant experience as a lawyer or legal counsel, with experience in the Internet or e-commerce industry is preferred;

3. English can be used as a working language, and Chinese or Arabic is a plus;

4. Have the ability to independently complete projects and do legal research and analysis;

5. Strong execution and communication skills, proactive and careful in work.
