The Opportunity

Hays Recruitment is seeking high-caliber Corporate Commercial Lawyers (3-10 PQE) for a number of exciting in-house opportunities with our esteemed Dubai and Abu Dhabi based clients across various sectors. These roles offer a unique chance to leverage your legal expertise in a dynamic in-house environment, partnering with business leaders to achieve strategic goals.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 3-10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a reputable law firm, with a strong focus on corporate and commercial transactions.
• Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing complex commercial agreements, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and commercial contracts.
• Excellent understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice tailored to a business audience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders across various departments.
• A proactive and results-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Qualified from a reputable common law university.
• Training and experience with a Magic Circle or Silver Circle law firm is highly desirable.
• While not mandatory, experience in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) or Life Sciences sectors is a particular interest for some of our clients.
• Arabic is an advantage.
