An exciting opportunity for a lawyer with minimum 5 to 10 years experience and with a focus on Litigation Management to join a Global Direct Selling Company. Middle East experience is required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Matters:
- Provide legal advice to the employees, management, and board on various legal issues.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Compliance, by ensuring that the company's transactions comply with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards / Monitoring changes in legislation and advising on necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.
Risk Management:
- Identifying and mitigating legal risks and liabilities that the company may face and implementing strategies to minimize legal exposure.
- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
Litigation Management:
- Managing or coordinating legal proceedings, including litigation and dispute resolutions in MENA which may involve appointment and communication with external lawyers.
- Evaluating the merits of a potential legal case or dispute to determine whether it's in the company's best interest to proceed or to seek alternative methods.
