Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive legal services and timely counsel to upper management and executives on various legal topics, ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies.
Advise on new and existing laws affecting the business, oversee legal matters, and maintain knowledge of company documents and operations.
Assist department heads and Human Resources with agreements, policies, employment matters, and contract drafting.
Develop defense strategies and consult on compliance, contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations with management and IT.
Educate stakeholders on legal, compliance, and data protection requirements while promoting a culture of compliance and integrity.
Research, evaluate, and manage risks related to business decisions, draft and negotiate legal documents, and handle complex legal matters.
Manage the company s intellectual property, prepare legal notices, handle legal cases, and stay updated on legislative changes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law (BSc) or higher.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role, including legal practice before state courts and registration with Courts of Appeal and Cassation.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Proven experience as a Legal Manager in a business environment and within government legal units.
Proficiency in drafting and editing legal documents, including contracts, reports, and memorandums.
Strong understanding of external factors affecting the company and ability to develop defensive or proactive legal strategies.
Creative and proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify risks and lead the business towards success.
