JOB PURPOSE
Fulfils all Statutory and Professional Duties as a registered pharmacist by following rule and regulations of Health Authorities and provide the best of customer service excellence. In addition to achieving the sales target and business profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fulfill all Statutory and Professional Duties of a registered pharmacist. (Including validity of license, abiding to rules and regulations in dispensing of the right medications and other health authority requirements) to meet authorities requirements- HAAD, DHA.
- Ensure the highest professional standards of counter prescribing and Medicines Protocol implementation in the frame of customer service excellence to meet company and professional standards.
- Ensure confidentiality of information concerning customers and staff in accordance with the Data Protection Act. And retain confidentiality of company policies and figure statistics to meet company and health authorities standards.
- Achieve individual profitability target to meet business plan set by the manager.
- Follow up on item expiries to avoid having expired items.
- Check warehouse slips, received items, and slip entry to ensure all slips are entered correctly on the system.
- Prepare credit card reports and cash deposits to meet timely deposit requirement.
- Prepare insurance submissions to meet due timings.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Pharmacy
- Preferably 2-5 years of experience in Retail/Hospital pharmacy in the UAE
- Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority and HAAD (Health Authority Abu Dhabi) licenses are mandatory.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide accurate medication information
