We are hiring a Life Unit Sales Manager for a regional insurance company in Kuwait.
Summary:
The Unit Manager responsibilities are developing, retaining and expanding a Sales team, through hiring, coaching, developing and supervising the team. The Unit manager main focus and objective is to ensure achievement of the Life sales department set activities and sales targets as per company annual budget, strategy and business plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Sales Department's performance against pre-set KPI's in line with life strategy and recommend corrective actions accordingly in order to reach set annual sales targets
- Responsible for developing long term relationship with clients, assess their needs and provide them accurate solutions, including suitable protection plan with long term investment strategy
- Research & acquire potential leads from different resources to build a database of prospective clients
- Build a sales team of Top Producers, as per company recruitment plan and remuneration matrix, set their objectives, monitor their performance and design incentive plans accordingly
- Detect the training needs of the sales team and ensure proper coaching was carried-out
- Provide coaching in field visits to ensure they manage, maintain and build solid connections with their clients
- Set up a yearly business plan with set targets & strategies for the unit
- Evaluate market trends, gather competitive data, and customize strategies to be implemented for the team development
- Implement innovative methods, to boost sales, expand market's reach and promote business in the region, while complying to required standards, group regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Conduct meetings with strategic customers to ensure solid relations
- Compile and analyze sales figures and prepare on time management reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales of which the last 3 years in a similar managerial position
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Microsoft Office skills & Good Reporting capabilities
