Light current Pre-sales Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deep knowledge of various security systems and technologies, including access control, IP CCTV, VMS, LPR, and security systems integration.
- Designing security and low current systems such as Data Center, Access Control, CCTV, Fire alarm, UPS, Racks, Time Attendance and bio metrics, etc.
- Designing systems including server, storage, passive and active networking, and systems integrations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment with client requirements.
- Collaborate with the site team to create customized proposals, including technical specifications, system designs, and cost estimates that align with client requirements.
- Prepare technical and financial offers, including proposals, system diagrams, and bills of materials.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits, features and services, highlighting how they can enhance clients operations and security.
- Send technical requirements to manufacturers/ Distributors/sub-contractors and request a competitive quotation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications or Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of successful experience.
- Excellent Knowledge of Access Control, IP CCTV, VMS, and security system integrations.
- Excellent Knowledge of passive and active networking systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Create one-line conceptual system diagrams using AutoCAD or Visio
- Must have experience in proposal document and estimation sheet preparation.
- Good communication & Presentation skills with an ability to compile tender documents with full commercial & contractual understanding
