A Light Vehicle Driver is a professional who operates a light vehicle such as a car, van, or SUV to transport people or goods. This job requires a valid drivers license, a good driving record, and knowledge of state and local laws.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensuring the vehicle is maintained following company policies and procedures.

Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Recording mileage, fuel usage, and other information as required.

Operating the vehicle safely and responsibly according to the applicable laws and regulations.

• Loading and unloading goods and materials safely and carefully.

Following company delivery instructions and routes.

• Maintaining a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record.

Ensuring the timely delivery of goods and materials.

• Maintaining necessary paperwork related to the operation of the vehicle.

Adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

• Reporting any mechanical issues or accidents to the manager.
