Lexzur Information Security Office:

We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Linux System Administrator to manage our Linux-based infrastructure and ensure its smooth operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems administration, along with experience in managing complex environments. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers and associated services.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and related software applications.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.

Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).

Collaborate with other teams to deploy and integrate new services.

Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet organizational needs.

Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

3+ years of experience in Linux system administration.

Proficiency in managing Linux-based servers (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).

Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of shell scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Ansible).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, LPIC, CompTIA Linux+) are a plus.
