Our client, a global risk consulting firm, is currently looking for a liquidity risk management specialist with 6 to 12 years of experience for a 6-month (extendable) contractual role in Riyadh, KSA. This critical role focuses on overseeing and improving the organization's liquidity risk management practices, including the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and contingency plans to ensure the organization maintains a robust liquidity position and complies with regulatory requirements.
- Liquidity Risk Analysis: Understand and assess the organization's cash flows and liquidity position to manage risks effectively
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive liquidity risk management strategies and policies
- Asset-Liability Management: Optimize the balance between assets and liabilities, conducting ALM modelling and analysis to assess interest rate risk and liquidity gaps.
Contingency Planning: Identify potential liquidity shortfalls and develop effective contingency plans
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to liquidity and ALM, staying updated on changes and best practices
- Reporting: Analyse liquidity risk metrics and prepare reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for risk mitigation and strategy optimization
- Counterparty Management: Engage with financial institutions and counterparties to manage liquidity arrangements effectively
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years in liquidity risk management, with a strong background in LCR, NSFR, liquidity risk stress testing, ILAAP, balance sheet management, and OFSAA
- Quantitative Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical abilities to assess risks and develop strategies
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the regulatory frameworks and principles governing liquidity risk management
- Financial Markets: Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- This is a contractual opportunity with an initial 6-month contract, and this is going to be based in Riyadh, KSA
