Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for business activities, including operations, portfolio management, and commercial (sales & marketing) functions. You will be accountable for driving profit-able business growth and achieving both short-term and long-term HUB growth and organizational development targets. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area based in Abu Dhabi UAE. You will be mainly accountable for: Implementing business strategy and ensuring business development in the operating unit, with full P&L responsibility. Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve ABB Division strategy. Monitoring industry trends and market conditions identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Overseeing Division operations ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with Division goals Leading the local division team, fostering a safe, healthy, performance-oriented, and inclusive culture. Ensuring profitable business growth through performance targets and regular oversight. Overseeing execution and delivery, aiming for best-in-class customer experience. Driving productivity, delivery performance, and cost optimization. Monitoring quality metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, and overseeing improvement activities. Driving marketing and sales, building long-term relationships with customers and partners. Managing performance and organizational development initiatives. Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Ensuring the financial health of the organization through cost control and revenue management. Fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities expanding market reach. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards. Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the business. Developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelors degree in business administration, management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in a similar industry.
Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control / Leading P&L role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and employees.
Demonstrated commitment to ethical business practices and corporate governance.
Deep understanding of cultural dynamics within multinational environment and the ability to foster an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the Energy industry or sector is highly desirable.
Leading teams managing projects from inception to completion.
Fluency in additional languages in English.
