Job Description
As front office, he/she acts as mediator between the customer + internal stakeholders (SER, PI, SC) and the remote project development team
Is in interface with Customer to
Organize technical meetings and reviews with the remote development team and in appropriate time with consideration of the project schedule
Clarify technical contract requirements (operational, performances, usability, reliability, safety ) and ensure that engineering solution will satisfy customer / final users (train staff, maintenance staff, passenger ) concerns
Report to Client what the engineers have determined to be doable within the given constraints (re-use, platform, planning, budget ) and projects QCD decision
Ensure that any deviation with the contract that is triggered by the costumer is tracked, recorded and officially approved as Variation Order that address the Technical Amendment.
Pay attention to address in anticipation any underlying risks that could jeopardize customer interest
Is in interface with the remote project development team to
Get the right level of expertise to support technical meetings / reviews with customer
Coordinate contractual deliverables with respect to commitments
Follow-up product developments and monitor train level operational effectiveness performances
Participate as customer voice to technical risks and opportunities management
Support Commissioning and Validation local team during First Train tests and whole fleet commissioning
Secure all technical needs from the local internal stakeholders (SER, PI, SC, Depo) are resolved.
Up to the extent of what defined by the Technical Customer Interface Manager, he/she will have the authority to reply technical queries from internal stakeholders (SER, PI, SC, Depo) provided are within the assigned delegation and the remote project development team is informed
Is in interface with both Customer and remote project development team to
Ensure follow up of sub-systems (electrical components, PACIS, CCTV, Multimedia, TCMS, Event recorder, Train Ground Communication, ATC/Safety equipment)
Support the Design/Verification reviews in all step of the Design For Quality cycle, following up the delivery and Customer approval all TC & IS Engineering outputs including, TCMS RSADs, Software specification or Functional Design Description FDD, Software, Electrical Schemes and Electrical Products definition (with the support of Electrical Lead Engineer), in compliance with the Engineering Quality Cost Delay commitments.
