JASARA PMC is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) for the position of Logistics Director. As a forward-thinking Civil Engineering company committed to delivering Social Infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, JASARA seeks an experienced Logistics Director to lead and enhance its logistics strategy. This role will involve overseeing and optimizing logistics operations, strategic planning, and aligning logistics functions with JASARA's overall business objectives. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals dedicated to ensuring the efficient movement of materials, equipment, and personnel across various projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute robust logistics strategies to support project requirements and enhance operational efficiency
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and government entities
- Monitor logistics performance indicators and implement operational best practices to drive efficiency and cost savings
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards in all logistics operations
- Conduct risk assessments of logistics activities and formulate strategies to mitigate identified risks
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics functions into overall project execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or other relevant discipline
- 15+ years of experience in logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within the construction or civil engineering sector. Experience in GCC preferred
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing logistics strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in Arabic and English
- Proficient in logistics management software and tools
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams
