Job Description
Coordinate the import of shipments in the most efficient way.
Coordinate the export of shipments effectively.
Setting up and maintaining schedules for inbound and outbound shipments
Handling the clearance of all shipments in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Handling samples of shipments in a timely manner.
Keep up to date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them.
Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.
Monitor and manage logistics expenses as per budget and cash flow.
Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory.
Invoicing and landed cost of all shipments.
Analysis of all logistics cost and cost-cutting implementation of the costs (clearance, shipping )
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficient.
Prepares shipping documents for domestic and international shipments.
Desired Candidate Profile
Profile:
Excellent English, verbal / written communication is a must.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
ERP system knowledge (preferably SAP B1)
Ability to work under pressure, teamwork, multi-tasker, analytical, problem solver, proactive.
5-10 years experience in logistics.
