We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Electrical Systems Automation Engineer to join our team in Dubai.
What youll do:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Automation products /solution and application , design principles, and applicable codes. Responsibilities include designing, analyzing, and implementing LV electrical systems for industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and specify electrical systems Automation & PLCS for Commercial & Industrial projects including O&G for power distribution and control systems
Analyze Automation /PLC requirements, calculate voltage drop, and determine appropriate drives , VFDs , PLCs etc solutions to propose.
Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Close engagement with Consultants/PMCs for technical approvals.
Troubleshoot electrical system problems and provide technical support to network of Panel Builders
Stay up-to-date on latest electrical codes and standards
Collaborate with End Users/Contractors & Consultants on project development and early engagement
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system design for industrial applications
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC other applicable electrical codes and standards
Proficient in electrical design software
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
