The Maintenance Engineer (Elevators) is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevator systems. This role involves ensuring that all elevator installations are safe, reliable, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The Maintenance Engineer will also be responsible for conducting regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency service requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage maintenance activities at the Alexandria and Port Said sites.
- Conduct meetings with customers to discuss maintenance plans and spare parts requirements.
- Prepare and provide quotations to customers for maintenance services.
- Supervise and monitor the performance of maintenance personnel assigned to these sites.
- Facilitate the handover of newly installed units from the installation team to the maintenance team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in elevator maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of elevator systems, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including climbing ladders and lifting heavy equipment.
