Job Description

Job Summary:

The maintenance manager is responsible for managing all facility activities. Such activities include the maintenance of equipment, systems and facilities, hygiene, warehouses and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1-Development and implementation of preventive, emergency and repair maintenance plans:

- Identify equipment, systems and facilities that need maintenance.

- Determine the type of maintenance that should be performed.

- Setting a maintenance schedule.

- Prepare a budget for maintenance.

-Preparation budget work on it during the expected preparation of real estate units during the year.

- Preparing lists of notes for real estate in preparation for the preparation of the capital expenditure budget.

- Prepare a vision of the annual operating expenses and present it to the real estate operations manager.

2-Maintenance budget management includes:

- Control maintenance-related expenses

- Preparation of expense reports.

- Request the necessary materials and equipment.

- Find ways to reduce costs.

3-Ensure that equipment, systems and facilities are working in good condition:

- Conducting periodic inspections.

- Making the necessary reforms.

- Ensure the availability of spare parts.

4-Lead and guide the maintenance team by assigning tasks, doing training and evaluating the performance of the team.

5-Dealing with suppliers, including maintenance contracting companies and public services, including negotiating prices, following up the preparation of contracts, following up the delivery of services and materials, and managing contracts.

6-Hygiene:

- follow up the two-day hygiene operations.

- Inventory control.

- Request the necessary materials and equipment.

7-Office work:

- preparation of technical reports.

- Raising the extracts of contractors.

- Creation of a database with technical plans for all real estate.

- Determine the annual recruitment and training plan.

- Field visits and preparation of periodic reports.

- Responsible for the processing of real estate units.

- Ensure that the standards of certification of compliance of buildings are achieved.

- Review new contracts and modify them technically.

- Responsibility for third-party contracts.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 5 Years in the field of maintenance or facilities management.
