Maintenance Supervisor - Oil & Gas/Terminal Operations (Emirati Talent)

Job Purpose

Oversee the preventive and breakdown maintenance of all equipment and assets owned by HEFD and HEFT, ensuring their reliability and optimal performance. Manage maintenance operations, including workforce supervision, spare parts inventory, technical training, and expense monitoring. Conduct technical inspections of new equipment and spare parts, and support the Maintenance Superintendent and Technical Engineer in both routine and project-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical and E&I equipment to ensure operational reliability and compliance with IMS standards.
• Lead maintenance teams in the installation, servicing, and upkeep of equipment while coordinating with contractors and cross-functional teams.
• Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and reordering to maintain critical stock levels.
• Oversee safety inspections, certifications, and audits to ensure compliance with EHSSQ standards.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, budgets, and performance reports, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Education: Engineering degree or higher diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in terminal, oil & gas, chemical, or refinery sectors in a supervisory role with a background in safety management (QMS & IMS).
• Skills:

Knowledge of chemical processes.

Expertise in emergency response training for maintenance teams.

Focal point for safety and quality management systems within the maintenance department.

Strong leadership, organizational abilities, proficiency in English, and computer skills for report generation.
