As a Sales Manager, Ads at Careem, you'll be a key player in our Ads business, working directly with some of the world's most recognised brands, CPGs, media agencies and movie studios.
This is a hands-on role, designed for a results-oriented sales expert who thrives in a high-growth, high-impact environment. You'll take ownership of a significant revenue stream, building and maintaining relationships with top advertisers while helping to define and execute our retail media sales strategy.
Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Success: Meet and exceed sales targets by crafting tailored retail media solutions that align with client goals across various Careem services.
- Client Relationships: Build and deepen partnerships with key clients, including top-tier brands, CPGs, and media agencies, delivering best-in-class service and establishing Careem Ads as a trusted partner.
- Market Positioning: Champion Careem's unique value proposition as a super app, utilizing insights into user behavior to position our ad products effectively within the broader media landscape.
- Innovative Solutions: Work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate ad products and packages, keeping our offerings competitive and relevant to advertisers needs.
- Sales Strategy Development: Partner with the GM of Ads to shape and execute a strategic plan for growth, from pricing models to go-to-market initiatives that align with our expansion goals.
- Pipeline Management: Build a robust sales pipeline and manage your book of business using CRM tools for efficient tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics to demonstrate campaign performance and ROI, making data-driven recommendations to clients for optimization.
Qualifications
- Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on retail media, digital advertising, or ad monetization, preferably within a retail or digital media environment.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing and growing relationships with top advertising brands, CPGs, or media agencies.
- Retail Media Expertise: In-depth understanding of retail media dynamics, ad formats, and monetization strategies that drive impact.
- Relationship-Building: Exceptional ability to foster trusted relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and translating these into effective ad solutions.
- Analytical Skills: Strong aptitude for data interpretation, with experience communicating campaign performance and ROI effectively.
