Dubai Holding is looking to hire a Manager Business Management reporting to the Senior Manager Business Management at Dubai Holding Corporate Office. The job holder is responsible for providing strategic support to the senior management and managing high-priority projects through business analysis, developing strategic stakeholder relationships, delivery excellence and managing communications with senior stakeholders. Leveraging extensive research on industry and global trends, this role drives innovation and competitive advantage to optimize business processes, enhance operational efficiency, support the organization's strategic objectives and enhance overall performance.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Support:

  • Coordinate and manage high-priority projects for the department, ensuring timely completion.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insightful analysis and recommendations on key business issues.
  • Develop and deliver business analyses and presentations and proactively gather and synthesize critical information to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry and global trends, including technological advancements, competitive landscape, regulatory changes and market dynamics.
  • Develop actionable recommendations to capitalize on emerging trends, ensuring alignment with the group's overarching goals and enhancing value creation across the Group by identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage. .
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to improve efficiency, growth, and profitability.
  • Synthesize complex industry trends and data into actionable insights and thought leadership that guide strategic decision making and drive innovation across the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives across the organization.
  • Ensure clear and concise communication is maintained with all stakeholders, inclusive but not limited to email correspondence, reporting, meetings.
  • Lead and coordinate business management tasks while liaising with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive progress and ensure timely completion of projects within the scope.
  • Partner with stakeholders to draft updates and communications on behalf of the senior management.

Business Analysis:

  • Review business data and reports, identifying potential issues and suggesting improvements.
  • Develop and implement process optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency supporting the strategic vision of the Group.
  • Challenge and validate data against internal and external benchmarks.
  • Prepare clear and concise data analyses and reports for senior leadership.
  • Review and evaluate work for business improvement opportunities.
  • Analyse situations, identify problems, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Develop and implement effective reporting processes to keep the senior management informed of key business metrics and developments.

Delivery:

  • Manage multiple business tasks independently, from concept to completion.
  • Craft compelling presentations with clear background, context, and solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality work products on time and within budget.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational governance structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to anticipate and address potential challenges throughout project lifecycles.

Office Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the department, prioritizing tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Conduct comprehensive workload assessments to optimize resource allocation, streamline processes, and improve productivity, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a business management or strategy role.

Education / Professional Certifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelors degree or equivalent in relevant subject areas such as business administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Masters in Business Administration, Chartered Accountant / CPA or CFA qualified and proven success in project management role.

Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and being able to cope well under pressure - ensuring the delivery of high-quality output
  • Proven track record of success
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Business and financial analysis
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and business acumen
  • Demonstrate agility in senior stakeholder management and showcase the ability to tailor communication styles accordingly
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to balance between having a high attention to detail, while being strategic and focused on the bigger picture
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to effectively succinctly present key findings to senior stakeholders
  • Proven IT skills in the following programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluent in English, Arabic speaking preferable
