Manager Cost Competitiveness

The Manager of Cost Competitiveness Projects is responsible for managing the planning, execution, and completion of diverse initiatives and projects, ensuring they align with the D33 agenda and the broader goals of economic growth and sustainability.

The role involves adopting a proactive approach to risk management, stakeholder engagement, and integrating innovative technologies and practices to enhance project outcomes. In addition to optimizing resource allocation and refining project methodologies, will focus on the development and management of sophisticated financial models for projects, providing financial insights and analyses to support decision-making processes.

We are looking for a management consultant with a dynamic work ethic and mindset to manage coordination of projects related to the strategic direction, frameworks and future vision of the Emirate, while streamlining initiatives to enhance our project management office, operational and workflow efficiencies.

• Provide hands-on support to the project team in executing and implementing a variety of initiatives aimed at enhancing Dubai's economic competitiveness.
• Assist in all phases of project management, including identification, planning, delivery, and reporting, ensuring a smooth transition and handover of completed projects.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of project plans, schedules, and deliverables, maintaining a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
• Actively identify potential project risks related to cost, resources, and timelines. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring projects remain on track and within budget.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and adjust project strategies as necessary to address emerging challenges.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams, external clients, and key stakeholders involved in project execution.
• Conduct comprehensive research to inform project strategies, identify best practices, and stay abreast of industry trends that may impact project outcomes.
