Job Purpose Statement:
The Manager of Procurement Operations is responsible for supporting and assisting the procurement team in alignment with the overall procurement strategy. This role involves collaborating with the procurement team and suppliers, overseeing procurement activities from purchase order issuance to delivery and settlement, and ensuring the procurement process is efficient and effective. The Procurement Manager will also play a key role in supplier management, driving operational excellence in daily procurement operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire procurement process from requisition to payment across all categories and regions.
- Manage the process of purchase order issuance, delivery confirmation, tracking deliveries, monitoring
- invoice submissions, goods receipt issuance, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
- Support procurement teams in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies.
- Lead and manage the procurement operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to
- achieve operational objectives.
- Assign tasks to the procurement operations team and ensure efficient and effective task execution.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities for process improvements, implementing
- best practices and utilizing technology solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement operations, including key performance indicators, cost
- savings, operational efficiency, and supplier performance metrics.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of
- procurement-related transactions and payments.
- Ensure adherence to company-approved standards, policies, procedures, and processes within
- procurement operations.
- Assist in budget preparation and provide inputs that contribute to improving efficiency and
- productivity.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties related to the job and/or the operation of the company, in accordance with the regulations of the Saudi Labor of Law.
- Adherence to Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Dealing with data and information according to their level of classification.
- Avoid violating the rights of any person or company protected by copyrights, patents, or any other intellectual property, or similar laws or regulations.
- Compliance with Cybersecurity requirements related to the protection of user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email requirements.
- Adhere to the acceptable use policy and Using CATRION information and technical assets only for business purposes.
- Obtaining the required permit from the security department or the owner of the authority in CATRION before hosting visitors in the company's specific sensitive sites.
- Reporting Cybersecurity incidents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics or Operations Management. Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is a plus.
- 6 - 8 Years of experience in the same field.
- Solid knowledge of SAP, MS Office, including Word, Excel.
