Job Summary:
The HSE Operations Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs across operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and internal policies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Dealing with legal authorities and consultants like Civil Defense, NCEC, and MODON.
- Identification of Hazards in the workplace by physical visits.
- Conducting the risk assessment and determining the control measures.
- Develop the Training and Awareness Programs to be aware of all concerns.
- Development of guidelines and Programs for Safety.
- Periodic inspection & audit of the active sites for the evaluation of compliance.
- Evaluate the compliance obligation related to the safety legislation.
- Leading meeting with management.
- Compliance in safety meetings.
- Evaluation and analysis of previous injury reports based on available data.
- Conducting internal safety audits.
- Leading the incident investigations.
- Conduct training sessions for colleagues to prevent workplace accidents.
- Conduct regular reviews and update procedures to keep abreast of current operations and comply with regulations.
Educational & Professional Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or a closely related field.
- Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, and/or H&S Level 6 Diploma certifications.
- Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably within the food sector.
- Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in English for effective communication, documentation, and training delivery.
