Job Description
Role Purpose:
Oversee the medical quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement within the overall Medical Quality Management System of Care Connect to ensure that the medical decisions being made by doctors in medical functions are of the highest quality in compliance with internal medical policy, clinical best practices, guidelines and standards.
Key Accountabilities:
1- Medical Quality Auditd;
- Detect defects on the way Care Connect doctors cary out their clinical works through listening from the recorded transactions and medical logs
- Determine the acceptable sampling statistically either random or 100% inspection
- Ensure that the quality control activities being performed is in accordance with agreed medical standards set by Care Connect clinical governance team
- Consistently log in the spreadsheet all the non-conformity reports from the audits done
2- Medical Quality Assurance;
- Analyze patient records to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Develop procedures to be used in auditing and reporting quality issues
- Regularly evaluate the quality control process to ensure its efficiency and effectivenes
- Review and provide inputs to the medical guidelines developed by clinical governance team
- Ensure zero audit findings from MOH, CBAHI and CHI surveillance and global healthcare accreditations audits
- Monitor and report quality control metrics on a timely manner
3- Medical Quality Improvement;
- Actively participate in continuous improvement / kaizen programs by implementing improvement projects related to the current function
- Develop loss tree of quality defects and identify vital few issues to be resolved through focused improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams
- Initiate improvement and corrective actions and strategies in order to minimize risk and enhance operations and outputs of quality control function
- Understand the major pain points of Care Connect patients experience and generate new ideas to improve the experience and drive growth
- Collaborate with CareConnect doctors and other medical staff to identify areas for enhancement in patient care quality
- Provide training, support, and guidance to primary care staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards
4- Project Management;
- Lead the successful implementation of the project effectively using a proven project management methodology
- Monitor & control the progress of project activities against the agreed plan on a regular basis
- Identify and report potential risks and mitigation actions
- Ensure that projects go live within agreed scope, time and budget
- Conduct post implementation review and evaluation to ensure optimal service delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance in healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirement, accreditation standards, and health care quality improvement methodology
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with ability to interpret data and identify areas of improvement
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals
- Detail-oriented with a commitment of upholding high standards of patient care

Education
Bachelor's degree in MBBS
